Dr. Chelsea Rae Hodge, PT, DPT, Cert-DN, Advanced JFB MFR Therapist, 200-RYT, is a distinguished Doctor of Physical Therapy, having earned her degree from the renowned Emory University where she also served as the Chair of the Ethics Committee. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a focus on Exercise Science and Recreation Therapy.

Certified as a Dry Needling Specialist and an Advanced John F Barnes Myofascial Release Therapist, Dr. Hodge is committed to providing comprehensive care to her clients. Additionally, she is a 200-Hour Registered Yoga Practitioner, further amplifying her expertise in holistic health.

Born and raised in Surprise, Arizona, Dr. Hodge discovered her calling for physical therapy at an early age following a life-altering accident that caused third-degree burns on over 30% of her body. Through years of recovery supported by her medical team and community, she transitioned from a burn victim to a survivor and ultimately, a thriver.

Today, Dr. Hodge passionately serves others, utilizing an integrative approach that blends traditional Physical Therapy with Yogic principles, advanced manual techniques like Dry Needling and Myofascial Release. With each client, she aims to foster authentic healing and helps them achieve their health and wellness objectives. As a devoted Health and Wellness Advocate, Dr. Hodge continually strives to elevate the standards of patient care in her field.

Physical Therapy

Our physical therapy sessions are designed to improve client's physical health and well-being. Initial sessions involve a comprehensive assessment to understand client's specific needs, followed by tailored treatment plans that may include therapeutic exercises, activities, neuromuscular re-education, and manual therapies such as soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization, the John F. Barnes Myofascial Release Approach, and dry needling. In each session, I take the time to understand client's individual requirements, preferences, and goals. I am thankful for client's trust in us as we craft a customized experience that may incorporate a blend of modalities to ensure client's receive the most effective care.

John F Barnes Myofascial Release

John F Barnes Myofascial Release Approach: This approach focuses on the intricate web of connective tissue called fascia, which surrounds and supports muscles, bones, and organs. It uses myofascial structural release, rebounding, and unwinding to release tension, reduce pain, and improve mobility.

Dry Needling

Dry needling is a safe and effective technique that involves the insertion of thin, sterile needles into specific trigger points or knots in muscles. This targeted approach can help alleviate pain and improve range of motion.

Yoga

Our one-on-one yoga sessions are a holistic wellness experience. I am grateful for the opportunity to tailor these sessions exclusively to client's, with personalized guidance to improve flexibility, strength, posture, and inner peace. I explore not just physical postures but also breathing techniques, meditation, and relaxation methods to enhance mental clarity and overall well-being. These sessions can also include breathwork to deepen client's practice.

Lifestyle Coaching

These sessions aim to support client's in creating lasting positive changes in their life. I am thankful for the trust client's place in me as we explore various dimensions of their life, from nutrition and fitness to stress management and goal setting, helping them find balance and fulfillment.
